Summary of Position:
This position has overall responsibilities of conforming the experimental AW609 tiltrotor aircraft and its parts and articles. This position is directly responsible for the collection, and analysis of all aircraft, parts, and drawing documentation to ensure and declare conformity. This position will also collaborate with and support Manufacturing Engineering, Production Operations, and Design Organization in monitoring and resolving any conformity related issues. This position may also support investigations for root cause analysis of conformity failures and development of corrective actions to reduce such failures.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Collecting documents and data for analysis of parts and their installations on experimental programs.

Analyzing conformity data using digital database systems.

Supporting Quality and other departments with monitoring and resolving conformity related issues.

Supporting Root Cause and Corrective Action investigations to reduce conformity issues.

Education:
High school degree required

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent combined Aerospace experience preferred.

Experience

Leonardo Helicopter Product Experience is a plus.

Leonardo Quality System Experience is a plus.

Competencies

Able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Able to perform data analysis, and qualitative research

Proficient in the use of Microsoft office suite products (I.e., Excel, Outlook, Word)

Proficient in the use of production database systems (I.e., SAP, Oracle, Segal, etc.) (Beneficial)

Proficient in the use of 3D modeling software (i.e., Enovia, Kisters, Catia, etc.) (Beneficial)
