NEPA Geeks is seeking an experienced in-shop computer technician to provide technical support and excellent customer service to our clients. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, the ability to think critically, and a passion for technology. In this role, you will diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, repair and upgrade computer systems and provide advice and guidance to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic tests on computer hardware and software
• Repair and replace damaged or faulty hardware components, including motherboards, hard drives, and power supplies
• Install and configure software applications and operating systems
• Ensure that all hardware and software installations comply with industry standards
• Provide guidance and advice to customers on technology products and services
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs, services, and installations
• Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and support
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain technical issues in a clear and concise manner
• Collaborate with other team members to share knowledge and resources

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as a computer technician
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with Windows and Mac operating systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift and move computer equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
