Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, and Engineering or a related field or related discipline; or 4+ years of equivalent Amazon experience. 3+ years in analytics, business analysis or comparable experience

Business proficiency in speaking and writing
Advanced working knowledge of data mining using SQL, ETL, data warehouse as well as Excel.

Demonstrated problem solving skills and analytical skills.

Amazon’s Pharmacy Compliance team is seeking a Compliance, Monitoring, Auditing and Data Analytics manager to execute on a compliance monitoring & auditing workplan as well as manage compliance projects using data analytics, develop reporting metrics and design dashboards for the compliance team. This individual will also support recurring analytics needs for the compliance investigations team, government programs compliance team as well as ad hoc compliance projects. A successful candidate will be a self-starter and should partner well with other stakeholders and have strong communication skills. This individual must be able to think big and be able to work both independently and collaboratively. As part of this team you will be expected to consistently raise the high bar of compliance and operational excellence as we rapidly grow, scale, and innovate and ultimately make Amazon Pharmacy the most customer-centric pharmacy on Earth.

Key job responsibilities
Become an expert on data sources available within the Amazon pharmacy org
Partner with Amazon Pharmacy’s Tech teams to align compliance and tech needs
Extract data from large datasets and present findings in a simple, standardized report.
Create trend-analysis reporting and dashboards for compliance projects
Advise compliance on data gaps and associated risks
Design automation to flag unusual activity in key risk areas
Develop a standardized data collection, data management, and data integrity maintenance process.

A day in the life
Establish key reporting for ongoing monitoring for key risk areas

Obtain data for key compliance metrics and ongoing monitoring of business needs

Communicate with compliance team members to understand data needs and advise them on how to best accomplish this

Participate in compliance meetings to advise on how we can continue to leverage data in our work

Create data visualization to effectively communicate findings

Pharmacy is a highly regulated industry and compliance impacts nearly all teams and business operations. The Amazon Pharmacy Compliance team has the unique ability to see broadly across the org and make a significant impact to ensure compliance measures are implemented and communicated timely to all impacted stakeholders, and the Compliance team is growing rapidly along with the business. Experience using data in risk management

Pharmacy or life-science compliance knowledge Strong communication skills

Comfortable navigating multiple systems and working in ambiguous environments

Ability to manage and prioritize multiple simultaneous projects

Aptitude for building strong working relationships

Self-motivated and able to work without direct supervision

Creative ability to display complex data in a simple, intuitive format

Advanced working knowledge of data mining using SQL, ETL processes and Excel

Knowledge of at least one programming language (Python, R, Java, C++, Haskell or similar)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $96,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
