Ensure all safety standards are being followed and unsafe acts or conditions are reported.

Maintain the work area’s cleanliness and organization.

Perform minor maintenance of the machine per the preventative maintenance schedule.

Communicate quality concerns/issues with CNC Coordinator.

Training requirements for the machine require the applicant to travel for (1) week, which includes staying overnight during that time.

This position requires extensive training, therefore this position requires a time commitment of (2) years, where as the individual will be able to perform all the above listed task, and become able to train new employee’s in the manufacturing system.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The additional education of the blueprint knowledge is required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and product information books. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. Read calipers, measuring tapes and read checking fixtures.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
