We are looking for an experienced Unreal Developer who can Experiment with game design and use rapid prototyping to create and iterate gameplay features. Prototype and iterate on features and accept feedback—optimized bugs in existing gameplay systems. Contribute ideas toward all aspects of the game’s production and development.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code

• Implement performance and quality modules

• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems

• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

• Integrate content from all departments, and assemble experiences upon our core framework

• Support on the implementation of our standardized systems

• Collaborate closely with artists and engineers to ensure that technical and visual requirements are met

• Grasp the complexity of project planning and implementation, including scope of work, time estimation and resource allocation

About you

• Experience with developing games in a professional work environment

• Experience with C++

• Knowledge of design within existing games

• Ability to articulate design features

• Ability to code and architect gameplay mechanics and tools

• Ability to apply creativity in problem-solving and think outside of the established solutions

• + years Unreal Engine experience.

Preferred:

Experience with working in the game industry

• Experience with designing multiplayer games with replicated gameplay features

• Experience with developing for multiple platforms, including OSX, Windows, PS4, and Xbox One

• Ability to be self-motivated and work well independently
