We are looking for an experienced Business Manager to partner with Plant Management in guiding the non-Operations functions by ensuring compliance with HR and other regulations, performance by contractors and carriers, customers , contractors and other outside parties.

The ideal candidate will be well-versed in business and contracts. They will be a competent leader able to provide direction and assure performance; and alert to all risks .

The goal will be to reduce risk and ensure compliance.

Business Manager responsibilities include:

• Reduce business risks in frt damage and delays, receiving and shipping, mail, facilities, capital project contracts, purchasing and selling contracts and execution.
• increase compliance contracts and regulations
• Oversight the business, except mfng, in ways that reduce incidence of loss ; and recovery of loss
• Develop common partners/vendors/suppliers/leaders/stakeholders for all plants and develop relationships with them
• Gather, analyze and interpret external and internal observations dealing with all risks,
• Develop and increase Adherence to company policies pertaining to risk
• Other activities as may be assigned

Requirements and skills

• Proven experience as business manager or relevant role with 10 years minimum experience in similar role in a commercial function
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities including networking, building and sustaining relationships and directing others
• Thorough understanding of business processes and commercial contracts
• BS in Business Management or relevant field required; MBA/MS will be a plus

Location: Pocatello, ID (onsite); primary location may change with business conditions.

Travel : 35 % including to other plants
