Overview:
Application Support Manager

Multi-State dental services company is seeking a talented Application Support manager. The successful candidate will be experienced in medium to large scale organization application support and have several years of personnel management experience. This is a working manager position that manages a small skilled team while also executing project tasks. The position will be based in our Dallas corporate office and is an on-site position only.
Responsibilities:
Job Responsibilities Include

  • Production Application Support - Across the organization
  • Evaluation, Planning, and Implementation of new technologies
  • Develop and maintain policies and SOP’s
  • Analyze trends, report on challenges, respond and improve
  • Identify areas for optimization and improvement
  • Create and refine diagrams and supporting documentation
  • Manage software-related projects and manage to deadlines
  • Manage a small but skilled team of engineers - 3-5 in size.
  • Managing a complex application infrastructure
  • Full stack application support, including SAAS applications and integrations
  • Manage and maintain integrations and integration points
  • Manage and maintain access levels
  • Plan, Manage, and Execute software updates
  • Manage SAAS vendor relationships
  • Incident management, analysis, and post incident remediation
  • Evaluate, Plan, and Implement Automation technologies
  • Manage our dental application suite + Data Warehouse + Interconnects
  • Manage Scheduling Center call flows, lines
  • Monitor and review service levels / SLA

This is generally an 8-5 position on-site position, but after hours or weekend work is occasionally required for updates and or service issues.
Qualifications:
Job Requirements

  • 5+ Years of experience - Application Support or Application Engineering
  • 2+ Years of Management Experience
  • Proven track record of success
  • Excellent communicator - written and verbal
  • Degree in Computer Science, BCIS, or related field preferred
  • Ability to multitask in a complex and fast paced environment
  • Experience with monitoring platforms
  • Ability to provide professional references
  • Experience with highly available environments is a plus.
  • Healthcare or HIPAA compliant service experience is a plus.
  • Understands the SDLC
  • Experience with mobile applications is helpful, but not required
  • Direct experience with Dental or Medical technologies is helpful, but not required
  • Direct experience with RingCentral+InContact is helpful, but not required
