Lifepoint Health has an opportunity for a Analyst, Physician Coding Quality- Remote. Performs Evaluation and Management coding, procedure, ICD-10 and HCPC quality reviews as well as other projects related to physician coding compliance. Educates physicians and clinic staff on proper clinical coding and documentation standards and rules. Demonstrates a thorough understanding of complex coding, reimbursement, and auditing principles as they relate to physician practices and clinic settings. Keeps informed regarding current coding regulations, professional standards and company/department policies and procedures and effectively applies this knowledge.

• Completes coding training with physician/practitioner and staff.
• Conducts quality reviews in a timely manner.
• Conducts random quality reviews for providers as scheduled.
• Conducts re-reviews based on escalation criteria as scheduled.
• Conducts procedure quality reviews as scheduled.
• Assist in educating coders/billers of code changes.
• Ensure completion of action plan items.
• Regular and reliable attendance at meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Specialty certification

• RHIT
