Casella Construction is seeking to hire an Administrative Specialist – Fleet Maintenance to join our team in Pittsford, Vermont. The Administrative Specialist is responsible for providing administrative support for the maintenance division by performing a wide variety of tasks for the Director of Fleet Maintenance, Maintenance Supervisors, and the team. Casella Construction has restructured the maintenance division by combining the off-road and on-road functions together, which creates an exciting opportunity for the right administrative support specialist. The person in this position will have a direct impact on enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the division through process improvement, technology, and communication. The position reports directly to the Director of Fleet Maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Enters data to complete work orders.
• Supports inventory management and parts ordering for work orders.
• Files Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
• Files FMCSA and DOT compliance paperwork.
• Supports shipping and receiving.
• Codes, through data entry, purchase orders and invoices.
• Works closely with Casella Construction Operations teams.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in an administrative role with increased levels of responsibility preferred.
• Strong knowledge and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and Maintenance Management Systems.
• Knowledge of FMCSA and DOT regulations and compliance preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge preferred.
