Job Duties/Scope Of Work
This position will be responsible for the following essential job duties:

  • Manage and keep current of equipment status.
  • Administer/facilitate project or function-specific programs.
  • Ensure all Industrial Hygiene Equipment Services (IHES) Procedures are kept up to date as required.
  • Manage manufacturer procedures, Industrial Hygiene Equipment Services (IHES) technical instructions,
and calibration/maintenance forms, as appropriate, to instrument specialists for calibrating or
maintaining equipment.
  • Implement Notice of Discrepancy process in accordance with MSC-PRO-490, Calibration Management
Program.
  • Perform reporting and recall notices monthly to customers.
  • Manage equipment history records, pertaining to calibration, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Responsible for ordering of equipment parts, in accordance with instrument specialist requests (to
restock spare parts bins), and IH sample supplies as replacements for items customers have used.
  • Manage equipment history records, pertaining to calibration, maintenance, and repairs.
  • May administer/facilitate project or function-specific programs.
  • Manage Industrial Hygiene Equipment Services (IHES) records (e.g., equipment manuals and process
documents) as stored in IDMS.
  • Fill acting role for IHES Manager as needed.
  • Support 24/7 response to critical needs of the Hanford site.
  • With limited direction and guidance from management, assists organizational management on coordination of activities.
  • Manage project schedule(s) and budget(s) as required.
  • Provide input to management team while suggesting sequence of work.
  • Initiate activities and implement resolutions to problems with varying degrees of complexity that affect the respective organization.
  • Instruct respective management team on current or future challenges and facilitate change while relying on the organizational leadership.
  • Support respective management team in support of maintenance activities.

Basic Qualifications
* BA/BS degree and a minimum of 8 years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education
and experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Must have valid driver's license.
  • Previous experience with Measuring & testing equipment (M&TE).

Desired Qualifications
* Previous experience calibrating M&TE.
  • Advanced skill level in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Prior experience working with bargaining unit employees or leading work activities.
  • Ability to evaluate and prioritize work activities so tasks can be accomplished within identified period
while taking into account impacts of decisions.
  • Previous Hanford Site experience desired but not required for consideration.

Compensation & Benefits
Grade 18: $101,525 - $128,075
Grade 19: $111,588 - $140,663
Grade 20: $122,813 - $154,838
