Spokane Produce is seeking a highly motivated individual for a FULL TIME Accounts Payable Clerk with the desire for a position with longevity. This position responsible for the daily processing of company business transactions in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Review invoices for proper documentation, coding and approvals
• Prioritize invoices in accordance with cash discounts as well as other terms of payment
• Monitor Accounts Payable aging list to ensure payments are up-to-date
• Resolve invoice discrepancies by researching and reconciling vendor statements
• Maintain professional correspondence with vendors and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
• Provide regular communication to management regarding status of invoice payments/receiving reports
• Oversee filing of documents and maintenance of record retention (scanning)
• Complete credit applications and forward to management for approval
• Maintain vendor files including obtaining W-9 for each vendor; accurately complete 1099 reporting
• Perform other tasks as required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent 10-key and computer skills – MS Office with emphasis on Excel spreadsheets
• Ability to accurately data enter large volumes of information
• Comfortable working in slightly noisy environment
• Must be detail oriented with great organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to interact with a very diverse population
• Excellent customer service skills
• Highly organized

Must have reliable transportation to be at work by 7:00am Monday through Friday, be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen, and continue to satisfy our drug testing policy, if offered employment. We are a Federal Contractor and drug free workplace, which includes a prohibition on marijuana use for all employees.
The wage scale is $19.00 to $21.00 per hour, depending on your experience. We offer a competitive benefits package with employee discounts on your first day; medical/dental/vision insurance first of the month after 60 days; paid time off and 401k with employer match after 1 year.
