Have fun in the great outdoors this summer as part of Baltimore County's Recreation and Parks team! Summer camp counselors lead outdoor activities for ages 4-12, many times introducing children to their first camp experiences. All sessions are nature/History-based day camps with hiking, stream exploration, gardening, environmental learning, include historical past-time activities, crafts, storytelling, and games.

This position is full-time and temporary, starting May 30th and ends August 18th. Camp counselors are expected to be available every week (Mon-Fri) between these dates but will receive off the whole week of July 3rd to 7th. A perfect opportunity for a college student or teacher/educator! Paid Mandatory training will be provided. Ideal candidate should have a strong love of nature or History and past experience caring for and/or teaching young children.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Childcare or Child educator: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
• CPR/First Aid Certification (Preferred)
