Job description

Essential duties include providing technical skills in radiology; produces and processes images of various parts of human anatomy to assist the radiologist in diagnosis of disease and/or injury; sets proper exposure factors and properly positions patients to achieve diagnostic quality using ALARA principles. Ability to operate diverse imaging equipment as well as computer software. May be required to specialize in image production for specific anatomy including orthopedic, chest, etc. The technologist will also be required to perform specific duties outside of imaging as directed by the PA, NP, and/or physicians including triaging patients, performing vitals, restocking supplies, room turnover to assist turnaround times, etc.(list is not exhaustive). Technologist must be registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and cross-trained into Computed Tomography with ARRT certification to assist with back-up call duty at the hospital.

Education: Graduate from an ARRT recognized accredited school of Radiologic Technology.

Experience: Minimum requirement is two years as a staff technologist with demonstrated patient care skills. Leadership experience preferred.

Licenses/Certification: ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography with good standing. Current certification in American Heart Association CPR or BLS.

Compensation: $27.50 - $38.50/hour DOE
