Shifts: Night 3x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00)

Length: 13 weeks - Travel position: Full time 40 /hours per week Guaranteed!

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to join our healthcare team as a Traveler. The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years of recent X-Ray Tech experience and possess the necessary PACS, Portables, C-Arm, and Contrast skills. The job requires flexibility, as on-call and floating schedules will be required. The position also involves working in various healthcare settings such as inpatient, OR, ER, Children's Hospital, NICU, PICU, Adult ICU, and diagnostic imaging. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with mostly portables and ER experience and have a passion for working in a second level trauma center, busy ER, and diagnostic imaging.

Responsibilities:

· Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-Ray equipment, such as PACS, Portables, C-Arm, and Contrast skills.

· Verify patient identity, take and document patient histories, and provide appropriate patient care during imaging procedures.

· Follow established protocols and policies for radiation safety, infection control, and quality control.

· Operate and maintain imaging equipment and PACS system.

· Prepare and administer contrast media as required.

· Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic imaging results.

· Work in various healthcare settings such as inpatient, OR, ER, Children's Hospital, NICU, PICU, Adult ICU, and diagnostic imaging.

· Be available for on-call and floating schedules.

· Follow scrubs dress code of black or navy.

Requirements:

· Minimum of two years of recent X-Ray Tech experience required.

· BLS and ARRT certifications required.

· GE and Siemens experience preferred.

· Cerner experience preferred.

· Inpatient, OR, ER, Children's Hospital, NICU, PICU, Adult ICU experience preferred.

· COVID-19 vaccination required (exemptions accepted if medical or religious).

· First time travelers accepted.
