Woodworking Technician

We are currently seeking a Woodworking Technician experienced working in the cabinetry/woodworking field. The right candidate must have knowledge of woodworking machinery; carpentry skills, sanding, table saw, ripping, and staining. This position involves learning the operation of a variety of woodworking equipment. This individual must have good practical, technical and communication skills with ability in math, measuring and calibrating and have good problem-solving skills. The ability to work quickly and under pressure, manage a varied workload and the initiative to work on your own or as part of a team. This position requires at least a one year experience in related fields and is scheduled Monday thru Friday as a 40 hour work week.

REQUIREMENTS:

Broad understanding of the cabinetry/woodworking line of work. Experience working in a manufacturing environment helpful. Strong sense of urgency. Customer focus with ability to deal with challenges and internal customers in a calm and helpful manner. Ability to learn a broad range of product processes and related woodworking machinery. Strong problem solving and organization skills. Must be a reliable, conscientious team player.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year
