• Compensation:
  • Starting wage, no experience: $18/hour
  • PSIA/AASI Certified starting wage: $19/hour and up depending on level of certification

  • This is a TEMPORARY POSITION, issued 1 lift ticket (non-passholders only) on scheduled work and training days. Ticket is good for lift access throughout the day, including after shift has ended. Ticket must be used on date of issue and is non-transferable.
• 5-day commitment:Minimum of 5 consecutive days worked in either Adult Race Camp or UK Youth Group Program.

Join us as a temporary snow sports instructor as we inspire the next generation of snow sports enthusiasts together.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities and essential functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Work together with Snow Sports Supervisors and Team Leads to organize classes and students according to the individual student goals and abilities
• Teach and demonstrate skiing/riding to classes of all abilities in a safe environment, using a variety of teaching and ski/ride techniques
• Demonstrate specific skiing maneuvers, including loading, and unloading lifts
• Provide exceptional guest service while maintaining safety as a priority at all times
• Work collaboratively with fellow staff and independently with groups or individual students

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Have passion for sharing the mountain experience

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Be able to ski/ride at an intermediate level or above
• Strong communication as well as interpersonal skills
• Ability to demonstrate skiing maneuvers to students throughout the duration of a lesson for up to 5 hours per day required
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
