• The Watersports Specialty Sales Consultant is responsible for selling water toys and Kayaks .
• Responsibilities include working with the customer, customer service, sales, inventory management, cash handling and product merchandising.

• Acquire full knowledge of complete product line, features and accessories available for purchase
• Show product in the showroom, at off-site displays or shows, and demonstrate kayaks and toys on the water .
• Oversee the delivery of each unit sold

• Professionally lead and support customer events including demo days!
• Actively participate in boat shows and other off-site promotions
• Project a professional and knowledgeable image at all times

• Manage and organize leads and follow ups with clients
• Be available to work full time 5 days a week including some weekend days if scheduled.
• Other duties may be assigned

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operations and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to write routine reports.
• Ability to speak English effectively to customers and/or employees of organization.
• Preferred Education and Experience
• High school diploma or GED. Experience working in the boat industry .

• This position may supervise and/or assist employees relative to specific but has no direct reports.

• The employee in this position may be exposed to certain hazards as part of the duties and responsibilities of the position such as heavy machinery and noisy environments, driving and working in adverse weather conditions, and the possibility of being a lone worker.
• NVMC will provide required personnel protective equipment (PPE) needed to mitigate or eliminate these hazards and all employees will be trained on the appropriate use of PPE.

• This is full time position. Days and hours of work are generally Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. but is flexible based on need.
