BASIC ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT

Support a multi-brand organization by reviewing, processing, and supporting the warranty claims and parts system. Maintain business partnerships by working with dealers and suppliers in order to satisfy product warranty needs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary

  • Warranty Claims Processing & Document Management
  • Understand and maintain working knowledge of multiple Brunswick brands’ warranty policy and procedures
  • Process warranty claims within designated threshold
  • Process warranty claims escalated from tier 1 staff as needed
  • Support audit of tier 1 claims
  • Review and process pre-authorization claims
  • Receive and process escalated registration corrections, research, and document requests for MSOs, Certificates of Origin, and others as needed
  • Maintain knowledge of open Service Campaigns and Recalls and work with Quality Campaign Manager to ensure warranty specifications are met
  • Relationship Management
  • Receive and support dealer inquiries regarding warranty coverage and claims systems
  • Receive and support supplier warranty review and credit recovery
  • Support dealer warranty and parts inquiries
  • Report common warranty issues to brand quality teams
  • Lead & Develop
  • Provide position and dealer training support as needed
  • Support Dealer Labor Rate program including maintaining affidavits and correct dealer rates
  • Support the Warranty Administration Certification training and inquiries as needed

Secondary

  • Parts and Accessory order processing and inquiries as needed
  • RGA processing as needed
  • Parts research
  • Training as required to maintain and improve product knowledge and skillset
  • Other tasks, initiatives, and projects and assigned by manager

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • A minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in customer service is required
  • Boating experience and knowledge of fiberglass and aluminum boats preferred
  • Familiarity with OBMS and Compass environment preferred
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com environment preferred
  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate through software and online programs required
  • Effective verbal communication skills needed
  • Excellent follow-up skills
  • Highly skilled in interpersonal skills with an ability to connect with others over the phone and email
  • Must be skilled in performing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to manage conflict and handle difficult situations in a professional manner
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Must be flexible to work extended hours to support the requirements of the business
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team environment within a matrix organization
