We are a multifunctional space in the centre of Milan, close to Porta Romana and Crocetta metro stations. The complex comprises a HOSTEL, a BAR, a COWORKING, a COLIVING for international university students and a VENUE for small events and private parties. Designed for leisure guests, students, digital nomads and everyone in between, our mission is to bring people together, making them connect, share and collaborate. We are looking for a young WAITER/WAITRESS to join our BAR staff, with immediate start!

Job Overview:

The Waiter/Waitress will be working in a very dynamic and fast-paced environment. He/she will welcome our clients (travellers sleeping in the hostel and locals who come to the bar), organise the table service, take. He/she will also receive the payments, handle cash and card transactions, as well as keep the place clean and tidy.

The staff at QUO Milano has a mission to connect with the customers, not only to serve them, so we are looking for a waiter/waitress who is friendly, talkative, outgoing and very dynamic. We work to create a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere for our clients and the waiters have an essential role to achieve this goal! So, more than experience, we are looking for a person with an ATTITUDE and mindset that matches ours.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Welcome the clients and accommodate them at the tables

• Take orders using our online system on the tablet (iPratico)

• Serve the tables carrying beverages and food on the trays

• Manage cash and card payments

• Ensure tables are clean and tidy at all times, as well as the whole bar area

• Set tables with cutlery, glasses and other equipment ready for new guests

• Perform cleaning tasks for the bar closure following the manager’s indications.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in English

• Italian and other languages are an important plus

• A minimum of experience working in a bar/restaurant or similar is a plus

• Confidence with handling cash and electronic transactions

• Great time management and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods

• Ability to provide exceptional customer service

• Excellent communication skills

• Friendly, talkative, outgoing and dynamic character.

Details:

• Immediate start

• From 20 to 35 years old

• Full time (5 days a week), evening shifts

• Need availability to work on weekends and holidays

• Start with a fixed-term contract, with the possibility of transformation into a permanent contract

• 1.390€/month + 13ª + 14ª
