Reporting to the President of Navico Group, we are seeking a transformational marketing leader to join us as the Vice President of Marketing, driving a comprehensive brand and go-to-market strategy for our dynamic and rapidly growing business. Ideally, the position will be located in one of our two main domestic hubs – Chicago or Grand Rapids, MI.

Responsibilities

  • Drive top-line growth and increase market share through integrated and targeted marketing plans.
  • Lead development of global brand strategy for Navico Group, including:
    • Rationalize and optimize existing brand portfolio (Navico Group has more than 20 distinct brands) to simplify consumer experience and maximize value creation.
    • Define market positioning and go-to-market strategy for the newly created Navico Group parent brand.
    • Define brand strategies for Navico Group’s portfolio of consumer brands – including target audience, purpose, and experience pillars.
  • Lead the overall planning, impact and effective alignment of brand positioning and brand communications to continually elevate awareness and differentiation in the market.
  • Direct digital marketing activation strategies to achieve business objectives, working closely with corporate centers of excellence to deliver ROI.
  • Oversee the development of impactful upper funnel and lower funnel marketing communications & channel activations, in accordance with brand positioning and guidelines.
  • Develop and oversee global marketing budgets.
  • Lead a global team of more than 80 marketing professionals.
  • Establish a brand health measurement framework to track awareness, preference, and purchase intent across the entire consumer decision journey.
  • Work in collaboration with product management and commercial teams to define new product development needs based on comprehensive understanding of consumer journeys.
  • Work collaboratively with Brunswick corporate team to refine and optimize ongoing marketing operating and collaboration model.
  • Develop and mentor a high-performing marketing team that understands and embodies Company cultural priorities.

Qualifications

  • Established marketing leadership track-record in consumer-packaged goods, consumer durables, or consumer electronics strongly preferred.
  • Global marketing experience strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 15 years of leadership in brand management for consumer products.
  • Strong track record of experience with both B2B and B2C marketing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated passion for improving (transforming) consumer experience.
  • Proficiency in directing the creative process for integrated marketing campaigns—with a heavy focus on digital.
  • Ability to persuasively present ideas to colleagues and senior management.
  • Skilled at managing large projects and meeting deadlines.
  • A true leader with a passion for having an impact.
