General Job Description:

This positions primary role is to design and develop enticing video projects for advertising and promotional purposes.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Check official e-mails day to day basis along side with internal communicator.
• Work with Vice President for premise of video
• Review old videos to determine if it can be reused
• Prepare concepts, designs, and layouts for video projects
• Participate in brainstorming session to share new design perspectives and ideas
• Scout out location for video shoot
• Hire actors when needed and create scripts for actors
• Plan what equipment will be needed for shots and videos
• Transport, set up, and operate various production equipment including cameras, audio recorders, lighting equipment, props, and microphones for location and studio productions
• Shoot the video
• Upload and edit video footage
• Make all necessary color corrections
• Edit raw video and incorporate elements such as animations, special effects, graphics and text
• Select and edit music and sound effects; time them to video for maximum impact
• Review video with Vice President for approval to use on YouTube and Face Book
• Ensure compliance with company guidelines, deadlines and design standards
• Other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Bachelor degree preferred
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
• 3+ years experience using camera, video and audio equipment
• Must be experienced with proper lighting techniques
• Ability to direct and guide others
• Must have a creative mindset
• Must have great attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Strong focus on keeping team up to date about projects
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
