San Francisco Animal Medical Center is looking for a veterinary assistant or RVT for our ICU/CCU. Strong applicants will be proficient in animal restraint and handling (especially as pertains to critical patients), venipuncture, IVC placement, providing oxygen support, patient monitoring, and assessment of critical patients. Applicants need to be comfortable will medical calculations, including but not limited to drug calculations, constant rate infusions, and fluid additives. Candidate must also be able to stand for long periods, crouch, and lift up to 40 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 10 or 12 hour shifts, day, swing, or overnight shifts

Salary: $27 - $37 per hour
