Total Veterinary Care in Grove City is looking for a FT veterinary assistant with AT LEASE ONE YEAR OF EXPERIENCE to join our team in a fast-paced, busy practice. Our ideal candidate is a positive self-starter who is motivated to learn and engage with their team and clients.

Hiring range: $14 - $18 per hour, depending on experience and skill-level

We are looking for someone who:

- Has experience handling animals, preferably in a veterinary setting

- Takes initiative by preparing for each day’s appointments, taking phone calls, setting appointments, taking medical history of patients, assisting veterinarians in surgery, physical exams, and diagnostic workups.

- Can demonstrate efficient organization and has the ability to pay attention to multiple details by taking initiative and staying motivated to provide excellent service to our clients

- Wants to learn new skills and is focused on using them to advance their careers for the betterment of themselves, their team, and the clients and patients we serve

- Has a positive attitude and is an effective and respectful team player

- Is available for rotating Saturday shifts
