Comp Resource Group (CRG) has been retained by Linn Animal Hospital to assist in the hiring of a Veterinarian to join their growing team in Cedar Rapids, IA.

ABOUT THE VETERINARY POSITION:

• Monday through Friday (8am-5pm) with rotating Saturdays (8am-12pm).
• No after hours on call.
• Hospitals equipped with: IDEXX lab equipment, Cornerstone software, digital radiograph, dental digital radiograph, cold therapy laser, ultrasound, surgical suites, experienced, long-term staff with minimal turnover.
• Well established business with three locations (currently five doctors).
• Long established with 50% growth in the last three years.
• Neighborhood convenience feel with large practice capabilities.
• Required three years experience.

Cedar Rapids is the second largest city in Iowa but has a small-town feel. It’s fifteen minutes to anywhere in the city. Ranked the #18 safest city in the country in 2019 and consistently ranks among the topmost affordable and safest cities in the country. It is located on the banks of the Cedar River and home to two four-year colleges and within an hour of the University of Iowa and University of Northern Iowa.

It is an economically stable city with a mix of blue- and white-collar jobs from Rockwell Avionics to General Mills. Other employers include GoDaddy and TransAmerica. Recreation and entertainment include bike trails, hiking, boating/water sports, fishing, camping, a 600-acre ATV park, and museums.

VETERINARIAN (DVM) COMPENSATION:

• Salary up to $120,000 based on experience
• $72k bonus opportunity
• Signing bonus up to $5,000
