Tutor Doctor Boca Raton is seeking a tutor who is passionate about working with students. Tutor Doctor provides one-to-one individualized tutoring in the home.

The ideal candidate is professional, a good communicator, empathic, and knowledgeable. Candidates should be experienced in working with Elementary Students for Reading Comprension.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Physically located in Broward or Palm Beach County and ability to travel to Coconut Creek
• Bachelor or Master Degree in Education, or English
• Teaching Certification
• Previous experience in teaching/ tutoring Elementary levels
• Ability to build rapport with students
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Dependability and professionalism

Responsibilities:

• Teach Reading Comprension (Elementary school level)
• Travel to the student's home for tutoring afterschool or weekends
• Design and implement lesson plans
• Communicate effectively with student, parents and other professionals
• Document and communicate with progress reports

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour
