PRO SOURCE, INC is now hiring several TRAILER MECHANICS for a regional trucking operation based in the Cartersville, GA area.

Pay starts @ $17/hour….going to $18/hour after 90 days. We have a full line of optional benefits available, including healthcare, dental, vision, accident & critical injury insurance, 401(k) and more.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform required maintenance services on fleet trailers.
• Perform trailer preventative maintenance services as required by DOT 49 CFR 396.
• Maintain written repair orders to include labor hours, parts used, and general comments.
• Complete written preventative maintenance inspection forms.
• Perform lot checks to verify equipment condition, identify potential OOS items and verify load status.
• Maintain maintenance reference manual to include job codes, standard operating procedures, and service bulletins issued by Company.
• Operate basic shop tools including welders, torches, impact wrenches, scaffolding, ladders, and other equipment as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

§ Excellent mechanical skills

§ Excellent organizational skills/attention to detail

§ Extensive knowledge of trailer repair

§ At least 2+ years of recent and verifiable mechanic experience

§ Clean MVR

§ No Record of DUI or Felony Convictions in last 7 years

§ Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
