Unarmed Security Officer Job Description:

Oatridge Security Group is looking for a Unarmed Security Officer to join its rapidly growing team. OSG has over 17 years' experience providing top of the line security services to the commercial sector and U.S government, operating throughout Washington and Oregon.

In 2020, OSG was recognized as the SBA National 8(A) Graduate of the Year. Unarmed Security Officer responsible for conducting walking patrols and static security at client site. Unarmed Security Officers will be required to have the ability to safely operate a vehicle, stand on their feet for long periods of time and work outside in the elements (weather). This position requires individuals that possess self-discipline, a good work ethic, and punctuality. Must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug test. Candidates must have a clean driving record, be well groomed, articulate, dependable, and be a team player. The Officer does not act in the capacity of a law enforcement officer and has no arrest or apprehension powers. The work is performed outdoors and indoors.

Unarmed Security Officer Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Prior military, civilian, or security officer experience preferred.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time and walk long distcances often.
• Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.
• Must speak, read, write, and understand the English language, apply written rules, detailed orders, instructions and training material.
• Detailed and legible written communication required.
• Excellent customer service via phone and face to face conversation.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $20.50 per hour
