THE OPPORTUNITY

YES Prep needs a dynamic Temporary Staffing and Recruitment Coordinator with a diverse set of experiences, to make our mission a reality. As a YES Prep employee, you will achieve jaw-dropping results, create pathways to opportunity for our students, build transformative relationships, and eliminate educational inequities to advance social justice.

To put it simply, you will support the Staffing and Recruitment teams during the Spring 2023 hiring season.

THE ROLE
When you join the YES Prep team, some of the work and responsibilities will include:
  • Aggressively monitoring applicant pools for each vacancy and ensuring that there are at least 3 quality candidates for every vacancy;
  • Works with Recruiter to screen candidates and queue to Hiring Managers within one week of a candidate’s application;
  • Develops clear systems and procedures for tracking data, assessing progress toward goals, and making changes in the moment to ensure all goals are met;
  • Posting, maintaining, and closing out job requisitions in Jobvite in a timely manner
  • Ensuring applicants receive regular communication about the hiring process from hiring managers;
  • Supporting Manager of Staffing with the goal of ensuring all fiscal year 2024 Home Office roles are filled by June 9th by executing the logistics of the hiring process with fidelity;
  • Communicating hiring action steps and procedures with Hiring Managers and providing Hiring Managers with support throughout the hiring process;
  • Supporting the staffing team with preparing for Onboarding activities and events;
  • Additional duties as assigned.

  • 0-2 years of professional experience in a human resource, administrative, or operations focused role
  • Comfort using computer application systems and programs
  • Effective communicator in both written and oral form, with excellent clarity and grammar
  • Ability to develop and maintain personal, organizational systems
  • Attention to detail and thoroughly checks work products
  • Ability to use your time, energy, and resources in an effective way
  • Doesn’t spill the beans on the highest level of confidential matters

THE NICE TO HAVES
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution
  • Experience with Human Resources, Benefits, or Payroll systems
