Duties:
Duties:
- The Telecommunications Engineer will support the company telephony hardware and software to include PBX/Voicemail systems and all peripheral applications associated with the telecommunications infrastructure, ensure the security of the phone system and assist with the design of voice infrastructure and applications to the requirements of the health center for all supported locations.
- Engineer reports directly to Telecommunications Manager with no additional staff reporting to the Engineer.
- Engineer is responsible for maintaining the security of telephony related equipment and recommends budgetary enhancements to Telecommunications Manager.
Education
- Associates Degree or Telecommunications Certifications
Experience
- At least 3 years in telecommunications; healthcare and network engineering experience preferred.
- Experience with administering call center applications and intermediate to advanced PBX programming desirable.
- Familiarity with Avaya telephony equipment a plus.
