Experience in the Medical device industry and with patient or physician facing manuals/IFU, Content Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Writes a variety of technical articles, reports, brochures, and/or manuals for documentation for a wide range of uses.
• May be responsible for coordinating the display of graphics and the production of the document. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures.
• May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
• May require a bachelor's degree or 7+ years experience.

Additional requirements for the job

• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant technical discipline, Communications, Marketing, English as a technical writer in a medical or high technology (preferably biotechnology) environment.
• 5 plus years of experience in Medical Device is required
• Types of Projects will be working on: External documents (not SOPs) related to patient and clinical phasing materials. Must have worked on IFU’s and patient or physician manuals /materials.
• The information for the projects will come from SMEs, Engineers that are updating existing current information. They will not be writing any materials from scratch.
• Looking for persons with Content Management Systems experience in Vasont, Frame-makers, Author IT (AIT), etc. all or any of these are good but not required
• Project Management skills are nice to have but not required
• Must have the following skill sets: organizational, verbal and written communication, attention to detail, prioritization, and the ability to juggle/manage multiple projects.
• A good to have is political savviness combined with communication skills as they will be expected to deal with Stakeholders and communicate at all levels of the organization.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
