The Technical Support Specialist is the primary liaison between ReminderMedia employees and the IT department for identifying issues

and performing basic troubleshooting of end-user computing devices and applications. They will create and track problems via the

ticketing system while performing preliminary diagnosis and of computer, voice, network and software issues. They will escalate issues

to appropriate IT personnel as required and follow through to resolution. They will be an active participant in on-boarding new

employees to ensure satisfaction and position new hires for success.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide exemplary customer support for ReminderMedia employees.
  • Gather basic information and perform initial troubleshooting as required.
  • Maintain proper technical documentation and update internal procedures.
  • Follow up on open issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a knowledgebase of documentation internal processes.
  • Monitor operational dashboards for system and application anomalies.
  • Adhere to performance expectations established by management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education:

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in an Information Technology field preferred.

Experience:

  • 2 years of customer service/support experience required.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and self-motivational skills.
  • 2 years of technical experience or demonstrated technical aptitude required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Teams, and Office. MacOS experience desired.
  • Ability to setup, troubleshoot and manage laptops, macbooks, printers, & soft phones
  • Understanding of basic networking concepts (VPN, Wireless, VoIP, etc)
  • A+ or other technical certification desired.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
