Position Summary:

  • The jobholder is responsible for actively promoting to the USA and Canada regions Customers the Airbus initiatives to enhance the access, usage and support of Airbus Technical Data deliverables.
  • The jobholder is responsible for providing to Customers first line support on Maintenance & Engineering Technical Data to obtain/maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

This includes familiarization/ training to ensure efficient use of the Technical Data by Customers.

  • The jobholder is responsible for acquiring customers feedback on Airbus Technical Data products, support and services in order to identify issues and/or subjects for continuous improvements

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensures regular communication towards operators promoting new digital initiatives
  • Communicates/Coordinates with the Airbus Headquarter organization on issues including regular reporting.
  • Make sure, as first line Support, that the Technical Data queries from internal and external customers are answered correctly and in expedite manner.
  • Support local Airbus teams with topics related to Technical Data

  • Provides Technical Data familiarization course and refresher training to region customers, MRO or Airworthiness Authorities.
  • Acquires, analyses customers feedback needs and requirement for continuous improvements of products and services.

[Description]: 10%

  • Organizes and coordinates regional Technical Data workshops, conferences in collaboration with the Airbus Central departments.

Additional Responsibilities:

Other duties as assigned: 5%

  • Provides dedicated briefing on Technical Data products & services for sales support

Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:

Education:

  • University degree

Experience:

  • 3 years aviation experience
  • Knowledge of aircraft maintenance operations, airline and Maintenance Repair & Overhaul (MRO) organizations

Licensure/Certifications:

  • Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities:

  • Good presentation skills.
  • Capability to understand customer needs in Customer Services business, preferably in the civil aeronautical field.
  • Capability to cope with highly demanding environment.
  • Tenacious and adaptable, have good coordination and relational skills with Head Quarter team.
  • Willing to travel in the region and occasionally to Europe.

Communication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages):

  • Excellent written and verbal level in English, Spanish could be a plus.

Travel Required:

  • 50% Domestic and International
  • Willing to travel in the region and occasionally to Europe.

Job Dimensions, Contributions to Success:

  • Customer Satisfaction Improvement Program (target >70%)
  • Revenues for Tech Data services and raw data policy as per catalogue or included in Services By Airbus
