Job Summary:

In this role we are looking for an experienced Technical Account Manager/Project Manager to build our client base and ensure customer satisfaction by providing and ensuring the support in all stages of the sales cycle. The Technical BPM should be able to source leads, set meetings, and close deals with our clients both in the U.S. and Chinese Markets. While at the same time we need the Technical BPM to fulfill all the client queries in a timely manner and train clients to use products as well as work with cross functional sales teams & area experts. In this role you will be required to travel within the Bay Area and other parts of the US to ensure that we are supporting our clients' project needs. You will also be required to utilize our teams in the United States, Finland, and China to make sure all the needs are met. To be successful as a Technical BPM, you should have excellent technical skills and knowledge, as well as sales ability and interpersonal skills.

Must Have Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as Technical Account Manager, Project Manager, BPM, or any similar role in the automation industry.
  • Educational Qualification: BS or higher in a technical field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in English. Excellent customer interaction skills and the ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Proficient verbal communication in any Chinese dialect.
  • Experience in Support / Implementation / Custom-enhancement projects in Virtual Reality/Extended Reality/Augmented Reality / Automated Robotics.
  • Experience in managing clients/projects within and outside the U.S.
  • Ability to work with marketing and presales and to help making offerings to new prospects and existing customers.
  • Proficient in MS Office, with working knowledge of CRM platforms.
  • Existing list of contacts in the AR/VR Industry, Hardware test equipment, or similar Industries.
  • Familiar with Hardware and Software solutions.
  • Willingness to travel in the Bay Area, other areas within the US, and to China.
  • Flexibility with schedules.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Main USA Point of Contact between our China team.
  • Assist on a range of virtual & augmented reality projects, being involved in the client-facing side as well as in the internal design and development management.
  • Source leads and utilize existing contacts to find new prospects.
  • Ensure all client deliverables meet expectations and are delivered on time.
  • Translate client needs into clear requirements for the creative and development teams, and regularly brainstorm with the teams’ introducing strategies, and providing feedback to help to achieve clients’ vision and goals.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the industry and clients’ unique business needs – know the current trends in the Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality field and contribute ideas and knowledge to our internal and external clients.
  • Work closely with our technology experts, subject matter experts, and our senior leadership team.
  • Provide leadership within projects, drive teamwork, and coordinate tasks in all stages of the projects.
  • Ensure efficient information flow to the global stakeholders of the project teams.
  • Ensure all the milestones and targets are being met for our clients.
  • Project manage client projects to ensure deliverables are being met.
  • Communicate with our China team on a weekly basis.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
