Description:

Our Team Members are trained throughout the location on multiple different responsibilities. We focus on training and equipping our employees with the ability and knowledge of how best to perform their duties. We have several positions available in the store right now and, once trained, hours are abundant. The basic requirements of this position are showing up when you are scheduled and being friendly, helpful, and pleasant with the customers and co-workers.

Responsibilities:

• Show up to work on time, in the proper uniform, ready to work every time you are scheduled
• Have an ability to learn the job a little bit better every day
• Bring a "can-do" attitude to work every single day
• Have an ability to push aside personal issues and represent Taco Casa in a friendly manner to customers and co-workers
• Must be able to communicate effectively with management in a timely manner regarding scheduling issues, and customer service problems
• Be able to clean and maintain an organized workspace
• Demonstrate ability to always work as a team to accomplish store goals and standards
• Be able to learn new things as the job requires

Qualifications:

Minimum Experience: (NOT required)

• Experience in the retail, food, or restaurant industry is a plus but not required.
• Be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate and maintain an effective working relationship with management and co-workers.
• Display a "team player" mentality

Knowledge: (NOT required)

• Previous cashier or register knowledge is definitely helpful but not required to apply
• Prior food prep or kitchen knowledge is helpful but not required

Education: (not required)

• Actively seeking or have obtained a High School diploma or GED is beneficial but not required
• Any associates degree, trade school, or college experience would be beneficial but not required

Physical:

• Must have the ability to stand throughout the entire shift.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, lift, shake, stir, pour, carry, and push frequently.
• Ability to read (orders on tickets, menu board, receipts, etc.).
• Frequent contact of hands in water, cleaning and sanitation solutions, meat products, poultry products, and produce items.
• Frequent washing of hands is an absolute requirement

Other:

• Team Member and Taco Casa will both agree on their availability based on the needs of the restaurant.
• Overtime hours are earned by the best performing and available employees are will be offered on a regular basis to such employees

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $25.00 per hour

Employees can wear masks but they are not required. Temperature checks occur daily prior to clock-ins. We have BioPure regularly come in at closing and treat all of our hard surfaces within our stores with a hospital-grade cleaning solution.
