Tax Associate

Your Associate position will begin with onboarding and technical training. In addition, you will be pared with a mentor to connect with and receive feedback to help you develop professionally.

This position will give you the opportunity to:

• Prepare basic to complex personal and business tax returns
• Prepare basic to complex amended returns, personal tax projections, property tax refunds, employee benefit plan returns, carry-back returns, and payroll tax returns
• Foundational understanding of the tax law
• Working knowledge of various tax programs
• Begin studying for CPA exam
• Work directly with firm partners, managers, directors, and senior accountants

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting
• At least 1 year experience in accounting; prefer tax experience
• Ability and motivated about working overtime as needed
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively both in written and verbal capacities
• Strong interpersonal skills and team-oriented
• Authorized to work in the United States
