Survey Team Leader / Professional Surveyor & Mapper - Tampa
Halff has an immediate opening for a Professional Surveyor and Mapper to lead and manage a project team in our Tampa office with great potential for career growth within the Halff organization. Qualifications:
- Must be licensed PSM in Florida.
- Land Development and Public Works survey experience is required.
- FDOT experience is a plus but not required.
- Minimum 5 years in office preparing boundary, topographic, site, utility and construction survey documents/drawings, legal descriptions.
- Civil 3D experience is required.
- Microstation and OpenRoads skills is a plus but not required.
- Experience in preparing legal descriptions for County projects for land acquisition.
- Computer skills should include survey processing software capabilities.
- Good communication skills and ability to lead and coordinate with survey crews and survey technicians.
- Capable of conducting critical negotiations and handling controversial issues.
- Ability to successfully manage projects including developing scope of work, schedule and fee. Support business development efforts, lead the preparation of proposals.
- Able to successfully lead a project team on projects of all sizes and levels of complexity. Ensure that all aspects of the project are followed through to completion which includes client meetings, project team communication, monitoring budgets and progress.
- Active in professional organizations, professional development and mentoring of staff. Maintains a network of relationships within the field.
