Position
Job Title: Supply Chain, Project Manager
Job purpose:
The responsibility of the Supply Chain and Logistics Project Manager is to liaise among different departments including, but not limited to Logistics, Supply Chain, IT teams, Merchandizing team, Boutique and 3PL Operations, to ensure smooth processes and continuous improvement on systems and procedures and ensure premier solutions.
Profile
Tasks & responsibilities
Transversal Projects:
- Lead cross-functional projects related to Retail excellence, Supply Chain Distribution optimization and Employees’ sales
- Assist Supply Chain and Logistics PM on dedicated tasks
3PL Performance review:
- Assist in supervising performance of 3PL in different warehouses with local teams including Finance and Logistics in monitoring compliance with agreed SLA, stock targets and KPI
- Available for monthly visit to local site in NJ and quarterly visit to local site in Long Island
- Assist local OPS managers in system development and process improvement
IT project development:
- Contribute to local IT / central IT projects involving Supply Chain
- Lead business requests on system deployments
- Lead UAT and coordinate training sessions among teams
Sustainability Taskforce:
- Assist PM in planning meeting and follow up on projects with Sustainability Taskforce
- Report to Central team in Paris status of projects
- Setting up contents for local and central Newsletter
- Participate in Global training sessions on sustainability to educate local teams
Additional information
Operational Follow-Up:
- Create and publish appropriate reports for performance, KPI trends and sell-through
Skills & Proficiencies
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Relevant degree - preferably in Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Supply Chain
- Understanding basic Supply Chain principles
- Strong analytical skills and ability to provide recommendations
- Ability to operate and structure large amount of data - solid understanding of Excel is required
- Ability to work with databases,
- SAP models of ERP, WM, EWM
- Strong communication skills and ability to understand all stakeholders’ priorities and context, adapt communication to the counterpart
Requirements
- At least 3-5 years’ experience in Supply Chain, luxury industry is a plus
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Positive and open-minded in all interactions with counterparts
- Able to structure and synthetize data and processes
- Result-oriented and deadline driven
- Ambitious spirit
- Proficient English written and spoken
