In coordination with the Commercial Risk Officer (CRO), this position is responsible for direct oversite of the Credit Management underwriters responsible for completing annual reviews and maintenance of the commercial loan portfolio to include loan monitoring, servicing, risk rating, and covenant compliance, etc. Ensures adequate staffing levels for optimal efficiency and to maintain service levels in support of Credit Management functions including completion of required Annual Reviews, Covenant testing, and in other portfolio management activities such as support of CAR/Watch relationships. Monitors and helps staff prioritize workflow as directed by the CRO. Assists in the planning, directing, and managing of the annual review and portfolio management activities.

Ensures credit integrity of the commercial and member business loan portfolio. Ensures Credit Management staff analyzes and monitors commercial loans in accordance to Federal, State, NCUA and SSFCU policies, and procedures. As a the supervisor/manager, reviews, monitors and ensures work product and service levels are maintained in support of CRO and Senior Management. Prepares and/or reviews and submits end of month statistical reporting to CRO.

Coaches, trains and counsels employees to ensure the highest level of accuracy is achieved on every Annual Review submitted and in portfolio management activities. Supervises the daily activities of the Credit Management underwriting staff including completion of performance reviews and human resource deliverables. Responsible for achieving efficiency and quality goals in support of the department's objectives. Completes any other job related duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Purpose, and abide by our Organization's Values.

Requirements: Bachelor degree, in accounting, finance or business administration or equivalent education and/or experience. Minimum of five (5) year of commercial lending experience, including a formal credit training background or comparable experience. Minimum of three (3) years of management experience is preferred, but not required. Current knowledge of Federal, State and NCUA regulations and statutes pertaining to all types of commercial lending, i.e.

real estate, middle market, SBA, C&I. Excellent verbal and written communicative skills, including public speaking and interviewing experience. Microsoft Office Suite and related software and spreadsheet applications such as, Excel.
