an exciting opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in the Sedona or
Prescott, AZ area.
We are looking for a long-term Full Charge Bookkeeper to help us
transition our records for three businesses into QuickBooks and
maintain our accounts as we grow.
Bookkeeper Job Responsibilities:
Setup QuickBooks and transition existing records to the new system.
Maintains records of financial transactions by establishing accounts;
posting transactions; ensure legal requirements compliance.
Develops system to account for financial transactions by establishing a
chart of accounts, defining bookkeeping policies and procedures.
Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting
transactions.
Balances subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries.
Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries.
Balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling
entries.
Maintains historical records by filing documents.
Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing
account information and trends.
Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying
requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports;
advising management on needed actions.
Work directly with the CEO and CFO
Onboard new business accounting as new business ventures are
established.
Other duties to support the team as assigned.
Work hours and Hourly Wage:
Work remotely either in Sedona or Prescott, Arizona
Approximately 30 hours weekly – flexible schedule
Compensation: TBD DOE

Previous bookkeeping experience required
