Position Summary
The Sr. Mgr. Enterprise Strategic Alignment is responsible for the completion and communication of Enterprise strategic vision and corresponding area business plans. Their team of professionals support the Executive Leadership Team and their areas develop annual business plans with risks, budgets, and metrics to support the enterprise mission. Throughout the year they report and update area progress and performance to report to the Board of Trustees and Executive Leadership Team.
The Sr. Mgr. works proactively with leaders to identify risks early and implement mitigations to achieve stated goals. They are also responsible for supporting major enterprise initiatives through coordination and project management to ensure alignment and execution.

Tasks and Responsibilities
- Lead a team of individuals which support Enterprise alignment in understanding, developing and executing their business plans in support of the Enterprise strategy.
- Work with CEO, Directs, VP’s, Office of the President & Board Relations to develop strategic objectives, business plans & performance measures.
- Partners directly with all Chief of Staffs & Business Strategy Managers to facilitate the development, execution & updating of all strategic documents, business plans & performance reports.
- Coordinates, development & reporting of all performance measures requiring the development & adherence to standard controls & processes in partnership with over 100 subject matter experts across the organization.
- Coordinate & facilitate Board & senior leadership strategic workshops & planning sessions.
- Develop internal communication & change management campaigns focused on increasing awareness & alignment to our mission, vision & goals.
- Focus on developing strong relationships between their team and leadership to understand an area’s strategic goals, headwinds/tailwinds, key initiatives, risks & performance measures.
- Support the development of new plans, measures & strategies to support our mission of serving our community.
- Partner with other process leaders to ensure the Enterprise consistently executes on defined strategic & business processes.
- Support a culture of growth through coordinating and facilitating strategic thinking & planning events for the Board of Trustees & leadership.
Drive operational excellence:
- Performing quantitative and qualitative analysis, such as assessing the effectiveness of current processes and identifying opportunities for transformation.
- Liaising with business unit senior leaders to formulate strategic priorities and execution plans, developing innovation processes, and driving key results.
- Enable strategy and planning across the Enterprise with frameworks and methods that aligns our work and yields a high-quality, integrated strategic plan, support culture, and transparency.
- Change Management - Provide organizational rigor and discipline around change management.
Communicate with executives:
- Create narratives and documents that tell the story of follow through on commitments.
- Developing executive level presentations and reports.
- Collaborating and developing effective working relationships with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders.
Influence stakeholders:
- Influence and drive cross-functional change by partnering with stakeholders across Enterprise.
- Champion the objectives and key results processes. Support cross-functional areas by assisting in the establishment of definitions, measurements and tracking for key strategic and operational initiatives from the point of adoption to completion.
- This position partners with leadership to establish operational cadence for organizational, Board of Trustees and Community discussions. Communicating critical initiatives’ progress and assist in the preparation of content for key decision makers and stakeholders.
Minimum Skills
Minimum Knowledge and Abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters or advance degree.
- Business strategy, planning or project management training or certification: Strategy experience, including driving and owning workstreams for strategy projects and programs with multiple stakeholders.
- High level of proficiency in developing executive level communications/presentations.
- Work experience managing larger communication or stakeholder programs/campaigns.
