Job Summary:
The Sr. Marketing Communications Specialist Contractor role works directly with marketing and other functions to develop and execute multi-channel marketing communications plans that reinforce CSI’s corporate, marketing, brand, and program objectives. This individual must be able to think strategically, be proactive, highly organized, detail-oriented, and be an effective communicator (written and verbally). They will interact closely with cross-functional groups including Product Marketing, Meetings Events Tradeshows (MET), Professional Education, Sales Training, Regulatory, Legal, Healthcare Economics & Reimbursement, Commercial Operations, as well as external vendors/partners.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities (include, but not limited to):
  • Develop and execute multi-channel marketing communications plans for assigned business franchise
  • Plan, support and develop strategic marketing and communication plans supporting product and program activities, including the creation of integrated launch plans, channel plans, and tactical deliverables
  • Develop on-brand materials and ensure those deliverables support established communication plans and defined business goals
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional and agency partners to execute communication plans (e.g., creative development, advertising and media plans, advertorials, brochures, animations, website, etc.)
  • Measure and analyze data for actionable insights
  • Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders; proactively communicate deliverables, expectations, project timelines, program activities, and logistics.
  • Contribute to product positioning, messaging, and market research in support of building out audience segmentation, ensuring cross-functional collaboration.
  • Maintain project records using established department procedures and tools.
  • Manage allocated budgets, identifying cost-savings where appropriate.
  • Support naming and product packaging initiatives for assigned business franchise
    • Support meeting, events & tradeshow activity
  • Partner with Product Marketing, Professional Education, Regulatory, Clinical/Science and MET to ensure MET strategies are understood and defined
  • Create and execute marketing communications plans and deliverables for tradeshows
  • Maintain compliance to the CSI Quality Policy/System (i.e., Veeva PromoMats), and all other documented quality processes and procedures, when performing assigned tasks
Minimum Qualifications:
  • BA or BS degree with 3-6 years of Marketing Communications/Marketing-related experience.
  • Demonstrated experience building out and executing communication channel plans and supporting product and program launches.
  • Foundational knowledge of marketing communication principals; Knowledge of Adobe Suite, including Acrobat Pro for proofing and annotating documents, Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel)
  • Experience in med device or other highly regulated field
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required for Successful Job Performance:
Knowledge of Adobe Suite, including Acrobat Pro for proofing and annotating documents; Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel) Proficiency in digital communication including updating website content and content management systems. Experience developing and executing strategic communications plans including a broad channel mix.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
Ability to work at a computer during the workday.
