Accountix is looking for accountants or consultants that are passionate about entrepreneurs and business. If you love creating raving fans out of your clients and also love accounting and FP&A, we should talk! We are looking for those unique accountants that prefer working with clients, not doing the day-to-day accounting.

What is a remote Client Advisor?
The Client Advisor is ultimately responsible for the happiness of the client and they deliver CFO advice. This advice is usually centered around Financial Planning and Analysis for their group of clients. You'll be responsible for building strong relationships with your clients and delivering coaching, consulting, and advice. This role is best suited for someone who is a curious problem solver that loves working with numbers and entrepreneurs.

What you'll be up to every day (i.e. job duties)

• Overall day-to-day ownership and point of contact for a set of assigned client relationships.
• Perform coaching and deliver business advisory services.
• Prepare forecasts and budgets to advise clients about opportunities in their business.
• Responsible for an excellent client experience and resolving any client satisfaction issues.
• Maintain an excellent working relationship with the Client Accounting Team (Client Controller, Accounting Associates, and Clerks).
• Project management of ad-hoc projects for assigned clients.
• Perform Ad Hoc reporting and financial analysis for complex clients.

Position requirements and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related field preferred.
• CPA, CMA, MBA, or similar required (deep experience in client accounting services or consulting may be considered as an exception).
• 3+ years of experience in client accounting services with a cloud-focused firm.
• Coaching and consulting experience preferred.
• Experience managing client relationships.
• Have a passion for mentoring and coaching.
• Excellent communicator and high emotional IQ.
• Cloud-based technology aptitude (QBO, Bill.com, Gusto, Karbon, Fathom, and others).
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident (no exceptions).
• Be available during core hours of 9am to 4pm Pacific Time.

Minimum requirements for your home office

• Quiet and dedicated workspace during core business hours (9am to 4pm Pacific Time) (Frequent internal and external video calls).
• High-speed and reliable internet.
