The Sr. Business Process Analyst will operate as the primary liaison between Business Stakeholders & IT Partners. The analyst will represent the Claim Payment & Presentment Team governing and assisting with CSP Facets, UNET, USP, Cosmos, UHOne, NICE and IFS claim adjudication platforms (CAE). You will assist the Production Manager for all of the CAE’s on the Payment Engine Application, a shared services Application that produces over $104 Billion dollars annually across all lines of business. You will assist on projects that have direct impact to Payment Engine production, manage business inquiries, new development opportunities and assist in the resolution of any production support issues. The Sr. Business Analyst role will be critical in monitoring daily cycles and working with our business partners and Payment Engine IT to lead and follow the issues to resolution.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a SME for the Payment Engine production team
  • Collaborate with the development team, business, and IT partners to prioritize defect fixes, communicate system issues and impacts
  • Support stakeholder training on any new functions by platform
  • Manage and track Payment Engine production issues
  • Act as point of contact for any issues or concerns from our business partners
  • Analyze and remediate payment issues, concerns, or questions i.e. Business Inquiries
  • Trend and collaborate with Business and IT Partners on root cause remediation
  • Prioritize system and non-system defects, i.e. ServiceNow tickets and assist in defect/break/fix remediation
  • Develop/create internal and external communications (i.e. 411 communications & PSIO)
  • Complete 835 manual remediation for CAE’s that use this feature
  • Update monthly metrics reporting
  • Provide Operational support where appropriate

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with documenting and resolving issues while effectively prioritizing multiple tasks, priorities, projects, and deadlines
  • Familiarity with EOB’s, PRA’s and Health Statements
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with PC based software programs and automated database management systems (Microsoft Project, Word, Excel and Powerpoint, Visio)
  • Remote but must be in PST Time Zone or be willing to work PST hours - until at least 4pm PST (7pm ET)


Preferred Qualification:

  • 2+ years Claims background in UNET, COSMOS, USP, NICE and/or CSP Facets

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York City, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York City, or Washington residents is $67,800 to $133,100.
