We are looking for a Sr. Account Manager on the internal Brand and Creative, team to be dedicated to the PowerSeller audience go-to-market team. In this role you will work closely with our marketing, media and product teams; as well as, the creative, strategy, operations and production departments to lead the planning process, strategy and development of fully integrated campaigns. This role is a contract position to cover family leave.


Success for this position is illustrated by the Sr. Account Manager’s ability to seamlessely integrate, partner, and balance the needs of marketing, media, product and creative. Developing strong relationships across teams, managing difficult situations while keeping the interest of the business and the brand at heart. To plan, lead, and drive fully integrated campaigns, while managing expectations cross-functionally, and delivering best-in-class creative in the time needed.


An ideal candidate will have a strong strategic and integrated production background, will confidently lead the strategic development and planning of campaigns and creative across channels from the initial analysis of the business challenge/need, to crafting creative and project briefs, through to producing and trafficking of assets. They should have a minimum of 7-10+ years in a creative agency environment with a variety of well-known brands, across diverse categories and bring with them a strong understanding of advertising and marketing strategies, trends and best practices.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/PRIMARY FUNCTIONS


  • Thorough oversight and direction of the day-to-day running of the business

  • Develops a thoughtful and trustworthy relationship with marketing and creative leadership, and maintains day-to-day contact; at the ready when challenges arise and provides swift resolution

  • Helps to devise short-term and long-term brand and advertising strategies that drive business momentum and deliver against (exceed) market KPIs

  • Adhere to strong brand, budget, resource, and business goal controls to ensure marketing work is aligned

  • Possesses the ability to create and sell advanced strategic concepts, drive initiatives, and write strong, insightful brand/project briefs based on the business, brand, competitor, culture, and audience knowledge

  • Influences the development of the highest quality creative work by sharing knowledge of the client/business/brand/competition and demonstrating strong creative judgement

  • Ability to lead meetings with CMO, VPs, and marketing leadership to speak to and support strategic concepts, creative initiatives, IMCs, etc.

  • A quick learner that can effectively demonstrate micro and macro knowledge of GoDaddy and the nuances of the PowerSeller audience and product focus

  • Drive message and creative cohesion across all consumer touchpoints and Global product expansions.

  • A motivational leader with the ability to unite and inspire the teams to deliver award-winning, results driven work with velocity and accuracy


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or Journalism

  • 7-10+ years account or brand management experience in a creative advertising agency

  • Experience with international markets and the tech category is preferred

  • Able to think strategically and analytically about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations, action plans, and campaigns

  • Ability to prioritize varying demands, set deadlines, and multi-task as needed

  • Team player with refined and assertive leadership skills and ability to positively influence change through solid rationale, supporting data, and diplomacy.

  • Have a creative eye – appreciation for good aesthetics and messaging. Able to distinguish when creative solutions are up to brand standards and solve business needs

  • Deep understanding of diverse production processes across all channels

  • Strong financial understanding of budgeting and estimating

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Highly organized with a keen sense of attention to detail

  • Abililty to big picture plan as well as get into the weeds to help drive

  • Thrives in fast-paced creative environment

  • Self-motivated. Able to work independently with minimal supervision
