This vacancy is located at Blue Oak Elementary School in Cameron Park

The El Dorado County Office of Education Autism Program is based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. Our educational staff is trained to deliver interventions and instruction that meet the learning, communicative, social, and behavioral needs of this population, including implementation of autism evidenced-based practices (EBPs). We work in collaboration with all districts in our county to transition students into our program and back to district programs based on their assessed needs. Students receive related services such as occupational therapy, speech therapy and/or physical therapy in accordance with their Individual Educational Program. These related service providers collaborate with the teachers on an ongoing basis. We are seeking a dedicated, passionate teacher who is highly qualified and has a strong understanding of the learning and related needs of students with autism (including training in Applied Behavior Analysis). Experience in Evidenced Based Practices (EBP’s) for Autism preferred. This position will join the EDCOE Autism program at Blue Oak Elementary in Cameron Park.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $56,674.00 - $115,533.00 per year

• Monday to Friday
• No nights
• No weekends
