Our Design/Build Company does:

• Landscape demolition and disposal
• Installation of Hardscapes (pavers/bricks/block/stone)
• Low Voltage Outdoor Lighting
• Carpentry
• Installation of Plant Material (trees, shrubs, sod, etc.) and Mulch
• Irrigation systems
• Storm drainage
• Applying Pesticides (liquid/granular)
• Grading
• Other Construction related skills
• Special features: outdoor kitchens, pergolas, in-ground swimming pools, and more!

Skills needed:

• Willingness to learn, and adapt to challenging situations
• Communicate effectively with a positive attitude is a must!
• Read Plan Drawings and the ability to implement in the field
• Use your knowledge and skills of construction to work with a variety of landscape related tools (shovel, rake, pitchfork, wheelbarrow, pickax, hand tamper, tape measure, level, hammer, etc.)
• Operate a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to skid steer, mini excavator, utility tractor, blower, edger, trimmers, plate compactor, power tools, hand tools, and small scale shop maintenance equipment (grease gun, grinder, drill press, saw, etc.).
• Works as part of a team to ensure the job is completed in the most time-efficient manner as well as to the company’s quality standards.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment, including work site and equipment.
• Works under the direction of a NC Licensed Landscape Architect and NC Licensed Landscape Contractor.
• Applies chemicals under the direction of North Carolina licensed pesticide applicator.

Required Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2-6+ years in Landscape Construction and/or related fields
• Valid NC Driver’s License
• CDL preferred but not necessary
• Additional certifications and/or licenses are preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
