Shipping and Receiving

Full-Time: M-Th 6am-4pm, Friday 7am-1pm

Pay: $20-$28

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Schedules outgoing loads with sales
• Manually or mechanically load or unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles
• Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move it around the warehouse or facility to ensure timely and complete delivery, relay discrepancies to proper personnel
• Maintains database of shipment data to ensure that customer orders are updated and that appropriate billing documents are provided to accounting or other associated departments as required
• Deliver material to proper locations
• Crate equipment for shipment
• Schedules outgoing loads
• Researches shipping quotes
• Oversees inventory control
• Compile worksheet or tickets from customer orders
• Use computer to enter records or reference stock
• Is thorough and careful about detail when completing work tasks or correcting flaws or mistakes

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Excellent time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines

*Self-starter & team player *Work well independently and perform at a high level

• Ability to accurately sort, count, and verify items received

Education and Experience:

• Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License

*Modern office practices, methods, and computer equipment and applications *ERP experience is preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position listed above including the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, walking, stooping, squatting, reaching, pushing, and pulling.

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation is $20.00 - $28.00/hour.
