Job description
Clean-O-Rama, New England's Leading distributor of Janitorial Equipment and Supplies, is looking for an experienced Service Writer to provide excellent customer service as it relates to equipment repairs and the parts department. The right candidate will have a strong level of experience in customer service, excellent communication and organizational skills and have proven experience in team building and employee management in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should have experience running a successful service program, be able to thrive in a little chaos, properly hire, and manage people. The ideal candidate will be able to make daily decisions and maintain systems that are aligned to promoting customer satisfaction and employee safety. Strong and effective communication skills along with competency to execute areas of continued improvement are a must. This position reports to the COO.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Providing outstanding customer service to all customers
Communicate and advise on next steps to both customers and assigned service techs regularly
Follow-up with customers daily regarding the status of their service needs
Manage the service technicians and parts department
Coordinate with warehouse staff, service techs, and customers on delivery of equipment as needed
Service order and parts order entry
Other responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
3 to 5 years of customer service experience
3 to 5 years of proven service management or equivalent experience
3 to 5 years of solid management experience
1 to 2 years of training and development experience
Must possess excellent communications skills - written and verbal
General human resources competencies preferred
Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable under Clean-O-Rama insurance
