About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer that will be working on the Acadia team within the Wealth Investment Management Line of Business. This resource will work as the Senior Software Engineer on a scrum team that is supporting operations trading applications that the Acadia team is supporting. In this role, you will:
  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
  • Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of Java Development experience
  • 3+ years of experience with Spring, Spring Batch, and Spring Boot
  • 2+ years of microservices and event driven design experience.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience in software architectures including traditional three-tier and container-based microservices, Kubernetes preferred.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies (Scrum preferred)
  • Experience in Automation and Continuous Integration-Continuous Development (CI/CD)
  • Experience with MongoDB.
  • Hand on experience with Angular or React development
  • Experience creating and implementing strategic plans and roadmaps at the executive level for enterprise-wide business initiatives
  • Hands on experience with Cloud native application design
  • Experience designing applications hosted in the public cloud (Azure preferred).
  • Hands on experience with Kafka
  • Hands on experience with Apigee, API Gateway
  • Hands on experience with API development, including REST and microservices
  • Hands on experience with test automation, Selenium
  • Knowledge of solution design leveraging IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
  • Fluency with modern monitoring and logging systems (e.g. Azure Monitor, Dynatrace, Splunk)
  • Familiarity with Jira and expressing non-functional requirements as stories.
  • Experience with ServiceNow
