Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Our innovative company is looking to fill the role of Senior Developer, SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services). Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. While this is our ideal list, we will consider candidates that do not necessarily have all the qualifications but have sufficient experience and talent.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Analyzes designs, creates, enhances, and tests complex application software with limited guidance from senior personnel
- Troubleshoots issues and makes recommendations to improve efficiency and accuracy of application software
- Uses knowledge of development language(s), development procedures, structured methodologies, and computer platform(s) to complete assignments and continues to expand knowledge in these areas as needed
- Employs interpersonal and verbal communication skills necessary to effectively coordinate interrelated activities with coworkers, end-users, and management
- Provides timely status updates
- Exhibits effective written communication skills necessary to produce documentation that accurately and effectively describes application software functionality
- Performs other related duties as directed by supervisor
- Performs other duties as required

Qualifications
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills and the ability to convey thoughts and ideas clearly and effectively
- Strong attention to detail, documentation, and organizational skills
- Interpersonal and presentation skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Time management skills to prioritize work
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to set technical direction for a project or application
- 5+ years’ experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- 5+ years’ expertise in SQL programming
- Ability to manipulate data using SSIS and TSQL
- Ability to write complex stored procedures and TSQL code
- Experience in performance tuning SQL Server and SSIS Packages
- Ability to write efficient TSQL and ETL Code
- Experience with the process of loading Data Warehouse Systems
- Successful candidates will be quality oriented and demonstrate great attention to detail
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to interact with multiple IT teams
- Read, Write, and Speak fluent English
- Experience in an Agile environment
- Experience with source control tools and processes
- Work on multiple assignments concurrently under aggressive deadlines
- Report writing experience is a plus
- Data Modeling tool experience is a plus (ERStudio or Erwin)
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to travel up to 10%; may include international travel
